Old 1890's - Electric Brand Golden Pumpkin Can Label

Vintage 11 1/2" wide Olney & Floyd Electric Brand Golden Pumpkin label. These go back to the late 1800s and are one of the most beautiful labels ever made. They picture a Goddess holding an electric bulb in one hand and a battery in the other. There are also two angel babies talking to each other on very early telephones. These date back to when electricity was considered magic, and it was a topic of conversation everywhere. The pumpkin itself that is in the picture is all gilding. There is no weight marking on it, which was required by law by around 1906. Labels this old are very very rare, and pumpkins are even hard to find. This would make an incredible piece framed for Halloween. Excellent unused condition.
